8 Reasons why we lose our health…

The main deterrent in maintaining a good health is our Lifestyle and Diet. They act like a double edged sword to tear apart our health factors like:

Less physical activity

  • Modern jobs require more of mental stress and very less physical work, contrary to previous generation where the work was much more physical and way less mentally pressing, and rather it used to refresh their minds.

More screen time

  • Be it official or casual, screen time is the new normal. From Official communication to informal talks, mobiles, tablets and Computers are an indispensable part of an individual’s daily schedule.

Stressed work life

  • As already discussed todays job is more of mental stress rather than physical stress, which takes a toll on one’s health.

Less family time

  • Family time is the best stress reliver for an Individual, which replenishes and rejuvenates him. Today’s modern lifestyle and work schedule have encroached upon this quality time.

Poor diet

  • Fresh Vegetables and fruits have become almost obsolete from our plates and replaced by fried foods and canned juices, which are more harmful than good.

Loads of junk and fried food

  • From Wheat, rice, fruits and vegetables, we have moved on to junk and fried foods like pizza, burgers, french-fries and so on as our staple diet.

  • This is one of the worst thing that have happened to mankind off-late as far as food and lifestyle is considered.

  • One of the biggest poison in today’s world is Sugar- The white poison. We consume a whole load of food items and products which are loaded with sugar. It has become a very common and major ingredient in our daily life.

ensures that we keep dialing our doctors as frequently as possible and visit our nearby clinics and hospitals for either checkups, scans or health issues which drains our wealth. These habits have become so deep rooted and common to our daily life that we seldom visualize them as a slow poison which is slaughtering us each day.

The redemption , the home coming to our ideal state is clearly to prioritize our health before anything else. We need to first accept the very fact that we are what we are when we are in a healthy state. Without our health, we become a liability not only to the society but also to ourselves. We have to understand the basics of our health, the building blocks of a happy body, a sound body which catalyses the development of a healthy mind. We have to make a list of Do’s and Dont’s for our own good , like we do for our finances, only then can we redefine our lives and reverse the damage we have already inflicted on our body.

Therefore let us embark on a journey to reclaim our health, to understand our body and its functions, to listen to the signs of fatigue from our organs and the ill effects of the poison we dump into ourselves which is gradually destroying us…
